Full credit for the photos in this post goes to our fabulous photographer, Robin of 83Photography. He captured our day perfectly.
I don't actually plan on writing very much, but this was my excuse to share my beloved photos and remember what a fab day we had!
My dress was a Mori Lee design, number 1954, which I found at Belles and Beaus in York. My mum made my button bouquet and my hairband was custom made.
Adam's suit was custom made by Owen Scott in Huddersfield.
Denton Hall, Ilkley, was the absolute perfect setting, especially since our wedding was on Yorkshire Day. We fell in love with the place on one visit.
It rained just as our ceremony was due to start at 1pm, but later it held off and we got some lovely photos in the grounds. I loved the little "secret garden" we found.
Indoors, the stunning spiral staircase (with "Alice in Wonderland" door to nowhere) and the dining room were both gorgeous.
I made / put together a lot of the decor myself. I collected vintage china, and used the teacups etc. with faux roses, buttons, pearls etc. to get a pretty tea party look.
Buttons were also a bit of theme because of my button bouquet, and I used them on the stationery and decor.
Our card box was an old tin ballot box, which I decorated. A little nod to what I do for a living!
My mum's very talented friend made us a brilliant cake, incorporating the tea party slash button theme.
One of my favourite things about the day, was having our favourite people around us.
My bridesmaids were my best and oldest friends, and the daughter of Adam's cousin was a perfect junior bridesmaid. She kept us all entertained whilst getting ready.
Adam's cousin did a sterling job as best man.
And of course, our lovely families were brilliant and we loved having them all together for one big party.
Not a lot to say, the photos speak for themselves! We really did have a good old knees up.
I will end with these, some of my favourites of me and my lovely boy.
Hope you've enjoyed having a good old nosy!
